What would you say if your partner bought you a £1 engagement ring?
With Valentine's Day just two weeks away, many people will be looking for grand gestures of love for their significant other or special person. But you don't have to look any further than your local supermarket.
Asda has launched a £1 engagement ring which is flying off the shelves. Our reporter Emily Sleight was pleasantly surprised when she managed to get her hands on one, with it exceeding her expectations. She said: "The quality is pretty decent nonetheless."
Readers have also been having their say, as one user said: "It's the thought that counts", as another added: "If you really love someone the cost of a ring shouldn't matter."
But whether you purchase it as a joke or if your love is deep and your pockets are not, we would really like to know what you would do if someone bought you the £1 engagement ring?
