Victoria Beckham supports son Brooklyn after heated debate over him cooking a popular Liverpool recipe.
Recently, Brooklyn has found himself at the centre of food controversies after using truffle in his tagliatelle during a cost of living crisis. But this week, he also caused a heated debate when he attempted to make Scouse.
There is no definitive recipe for Scouse, because it was traditionally made from leftovers and whatever was in season at the time. But it typically includes common ingredients such as potatoes, onions, carrots and then chunks of beef or lamb.

However, the son of David and Victoria Beckham, who discovered cooking in lockdown, used two ingredients – diced beef and white cabbage – and left out onions. Captioning his video: "Scouse soup x one of my favourite dishes", it caused quite a stir.
Nicola Rochford said: "Scouse is not a soup. That what you have cooked is English hot pot/stew."
Kym Lawson added: "Scouse is stewing beef and no cabbage." Mel Davis added: "It’s scouse broth it’s not a soup, we’ve never ever called it scouse soup, either just scouse or scouse broth some people even call it scouse stew."
But despite some negative comments, Brooklyn responded: "No onions because my wife isn’t a fan", prompting much support. One said: "Bloody hell the amount of negative comments of here is pathetic. Least he cooks, it's his way so leave him be. We all have different ways or versions of a dish and that's his."
And none other than his mum Victoria Beckham who shared the video to her own Instagram story. She wrote: "Harper is excited for me to attempt this tomorrow for dinner!!!!"
She added: "We love you!!!" as the story was shared to her 30.5million followers.
