Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou will meet in a huge crossover fight this weekend in Saudi Arabia and many fight fans will be wondering how much each fighter will be earning from the night.

Prize money for fights of this scale are rarely made public however, speaking at a press conference to launch the event back in early September, Fury told the press about Ngannou's choice to leave the UFC behind and elaborated about how much the former MMA star could be earning from the clash.

Fury has claimed that Ngannou will earn an astonishing $10million (£8.2 million) for the crossover event. Fury said at the press conference: "Everyone said he was an idiot for walking away from the UFC and now all of a sudden he's a genius, isn't he? Guy's about to make $10 million. Come on. Egg in their face. Francis is going to make that bag. Rich."

It was claimed by Derek Chisora via FightHub TV that Fury is set to bank $50 million ($41.1 million) for the fight. Fury pulled in over £25m for his rematch and trilogy with Deontay Wilder, and just under it for the defence against Dillian Whyte at Wembley last year.

It's expected that Ngannou's fee for the Riyadh based bout will be greater than anything he pocketed with the UFC. Ngannou's last fight in the UFC -against Ciryl Gane came with a purse of $600,000 which is around £490,000. That means one fight against Fury could see the former UFC champ earn at least 16 times his final purse with the UFC.
