Fish and chips is a staple favourite for many people in the UK.
It's an iconic meal that is often enjoyed in restaurants, pubs, by the seaside, or taken away from a chip shop and eaten in the comfort of your own home. The best places to eat fish and chips in the UK have finally been unveiled.
And two of the top 20 locations are in Merseyside, as reported in the Mirror.

Travel booking website Omio put an end to the long-awaited debate by revealing the best places to eat fish and chips, and unsurprisingly most of them are by the seaside. The data was retrieved from TripAdvisor, which indicates where has the most chippies, along with their level of popularity.
Crosby came in at the fifth best town, while New Brighton came in at number 20.
