TJ Hughes has confirmed details of the departments that will be included in its new city store.
The department store is due to move from Audley House, overlooking Monument Place, next month after it was announced the building would be converted into almost 200 flats. The store will be moving into the former H&M building on Church Street, located next to Boots, in September.
The new store will have a floor area of 27,000 square feet, set over three storeys, and will feature all its traditional departments. These will include beauty, fashion, home, electrical, luggage and seasonal.

The site will also boast a café bar on its top floor.
Company owner Anil Juneja said: “This represents an important move for us. It’s a very well-located site that’s convenient for the majority of shoppers, so it’s good for the city and good for the brand.
"And importantly, of course, it keeps our flagship store in Liverpool, which is where the whole TJ Hughes story began.”
TJ Hughes has been based at Audley House since the 1920s. All the jobs the original store supported have been preserved and more than 50 staff will be working at the new city centre outlet.
The department store's relocation which includes the majority of the planning, stripping and refurbishment work has been delivered by trusted contractors in Merseyside. The scheme has also been supported by many Merseyside-based suppliers of services, products and materials.
Anil Juneja said: “We’re making every effort to keep things as local we can. Liverpool has always been the company’s home, and it’s from here that we aim to begin a new era of growth.”
