A supermarket has apologised after their website and app have crashed, leaving customers worried about their deliveries.
The Tesco website and app appear to be crashing this morning on Friday, October 20. The app states: "Something's not right. Please try again. Still not working? Try again later."
According to Downdetector, users have reported problems with the chain from around 8am this morning. The issues appear to be ongoing at the moment.

Around 54% have reported problems with the app compared to 44% with the website and many have taken to social media to complain.
Dozens of people have taken to social media to express their concern this morning. One person asked: "Will the problems you have with online shopping affect my delivery this morning?"
Another wrote: "Hello, is your app down? I’ve been trying to book a delivery, but I’ve a full basket which I hadn’t put together, and it keeps saying something went wrong when I try to empty it. It is also saying something went wrong when trying to book a slot. Any help please? Many thanks."
A third added: "Is there a problem with @tesco today can you confirm whether deliveries will go ahead?"
As of yet, Tesco has not confirmed whether deliveries are still going ahead, but official accounts have been replying to concerned customers online.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, the chain confirmed the IT team were working hard to get it sorted. They wrote: "We are aware of the outage and our IT team are working hard to get this updated as soon as possible.
"There's no ETA as yet, we'll we'll get everything back up as soon as we can. Sorry for the inconvenience."
In response to another concerned customer, they added: "I am sorry, we are currently trying to fix the website. I can only advise to try it again later today as we do not have a time for when it will be working."
