A road was blocked when a caravan got stuck.
A static caravan became stuck sideways across Carr Bridge Road in Woodchurch, Birkenhead yesterday at around lunchtime. The road was blocked for hours and police were called to the scene to help move the caravan out of the way.
It is believed the caravan had been trying to enter the field which runs adjacent to the road. However it was stuck and left a sight remniscient of one gag in the Austin Powers films when he attempts a three-point turn but becomes trapped horizontally in a tight corridor.

Witnesses called it the "strangest thing" they'd seen all day. One person living on the estate said: "How much for 2 weeks in August please, and will the baths be open?"
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "We were contacted at around 12.35pm yesterday (Wednesday, February 1) following a report of a mobile home stuck on Carr Bridge Road in Woodchurch. It was moved to the side of the road at around 3pm."
