A Ryanair flight needed to make an emergency landing at Manchester airport yesterday.
Flight FR5663 EDI-AGP left Edinburgh for Malaga, on Tuesday afternoon but shortly after take-off a passenger became ill on board. Crew called ahead and requested a diversion to Manchester for the medical emergency.
It is reported that the flight was in the air for under an hour when the staff were made to land so the passenger could receive medical attention, the MEN reports. The flight later continued to Malaga after a one-hour delay.
