A road near Alder Hey Children's Hospital is closed after a two car crash.
Emergency services were called to Mill Lane, at the junction of Eaton Road, in West Derby at 8.13pm on Tuesday, August 29, following reports of a crash. Once Merseyside Police officers and Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service arrived at the scene a short time later they found two vehicles, including a Mercedes, had crashed at the junction.
One person was assessed at the scene before being transported to hospital, where they're being given precautionary checks.

Pictures from the scene show the Mercedes with severe damage to the front of the vehicle and all of the air bags released. A recovery vehicle was at the scene waiting to remove the cars from the road.
A spokesperson from Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service said: "Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service was in attendance at an incident on the junction of Mill Lane and Eaton Road, West Derby earlier tonight. Crews were alerted at 8.13pm and on scene at 8.18pm.
"Two fire engines attended. This was a two vehicle road traffic collision (RTC), with both vehicles on all four wheels.
"An occupant of one of the vehicles was assessed and then transported to hospital for precautionary checks. MFRS crews left the scene at 8.49pm."
