Police have shut off a road in Liverpool City Centre after a man was hit by a car.
Merseyside Police were called to Dale Street in Liverpool City Centre at 10.40pm on Thursday, December 14, following reports of an incident. Once officers arrived at the scene they found a man had been hit by a car.
The North West Ambulance Service are at the scene and are assessing the man for what is understood to be a leg injury. Pictures from the scene show a number of police cars have blocked the road.

No arrests have been made at this time.
