An off road e-bike causing trouble led police to find hundreds of wraps of Class B drugs.

People in Ellesmere Port got in touch with Cheshire Police over recent weeks reporting issues with an off-road electric bike in the Rossmore area of the town. Following the reports plain clothed officers conducted an operation in the area on Friday, July 21.

During the operation, the electric bike was located and seized in the Wharfe Lane area. During a search of the vehicle officers recovered several snap bags containing cannabis.

Both teenagers were subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs. The pair have since been released on conditional bail until Thursday, October 5.
