A plane flew a heartwarming banner over the funeral of a "much-loved" son's funeral.
Joseph Holland died after being stabbed in the chest on June 8. The 25-year-old from Huyton, was found dead by police at an address on Huyton House Road after they were called to reports for concern for safety.
On July 5 Joseph was laid to rest at GreenAcres Cemetery and Ceremonial Park in Rainford, St Helens. The hearse carried a coffin covered in pictures of Joseph and his closest friends and family.

There were beautiful white flowers in the back of the hearse which read "Joe" along with other floral arrangements and a picture of Joseph. A plane flew over the cemetery during the funeral which pulled a heartwarming banner reading "rest easy Jolly".
Following Joseph's death his family gave a short tribute, which read: "No words could ever describe the loss of our beautiful son, brother, uncle and friend to many. He was loved by everybody.”
