There's often a lot of hype around Olaplex, and for the price, I was a little dubious at first.
Even a simple shampoo and conditioner bundle is priced at a whopping £56, so it's completely understandable why shoppers are often on the hunt for dupes. I've learnt with products like Olaplex that it's really best to grab it on offer whilst you can.
The shampoo and conditioner definitely goes a long way, but it's always better when it's slightly cheaper. Another Olaplex product I swear by is the Olaplex No. 3 Mask – which is usually priced at £28 and is now down to £14.88 on Amazon.

Olaplex No. 3 promises to rebuild broken hair by reconnecting the broken disulphide bonds. It contains a patended bond-building ingredient, bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate, which penerates the hair and rebuilds damaged bonds.
Let's just say, I needed all the help I could get due to excessive bleach damage. After having regular scalp bleaches in the summer last year, I was blissfully unaware that I had a quite literal chunk of my hair missing at the back.
It had been damaged so much that I looked like I had some kind of weird mullet, and it definitely wasn't a good look. This was just over a year and a half ago, and since investing time and effort into products like Olaplex – I've seen a huge difference.
Olaplex No. 3 has over 119k global reviews on Amazon, and it's very easy to see why. It's a brand that's highly spoken about in the haircare world, and I'd go as far to describe it as my 'holy-grail' product.
When using the mask, I like to leave it in for as long as possible. Although the bottle is pretty tiny, a little goes far as it has a very thick consistency.
It's advised that you use the product once a week, or even two to three times a week if you have highly damaged hair. Sometimes if I'm feeling extra fancy, I like to combine the O laplex No.3 with the Olaplex shampoo and conditioner, but again, it's a very expensive regime to maintain.
According to Olaplex, for the 'strongest at-home repair' it's advised that you use Olaplex No.3 with the No.0 Bond Building Hair Treatment. The product is described as a 'lightweight formula' that works as a primer to boost the efficacy of the No.3 Hair Perfector.
After regularly using the Olaplex No.3 mask for over a year, I've seen a huge difference in my hair. Granted, it's not perfect, and as a bleach user I still suffer from slight breakage, but the missing chunk of my hair has officially grown back and I couldn't be happier.
The lengths feel stronger and thicker, and my hair has much more of a shine to it. Even if you don't suffer with bleach damage, it's a nourishing hair mask that I'd thoroughly recommend. You can find out more about the Olaplex No.3 here.
