A new 24-hour McDonald's restaurant has opened in Merseyside.
The new dine-in and Drive-Thru franchise located in Bidston, Wirral, has opened for business yesterday, Wednesday July 12. The new venture follows significant investment from a local franchisee Paul Griffiths and will serve customers seven days a week and remain open for 24 hours a day.
The restaurant will join the existing Junction One retail Park at Bidston Moss, Wallasey. According to the chain, the opening will create around 150 jobs for the local area.

As well as drive-thru capabilities, the new premises will feature click and serve, table service, self-ordering kiosks and a large outside patio area. The inside of the restaurant will be able to seat 75 people.
Paul Griffiths, who now owns and operates five McDonald’s restaurants in The Wirral, said “We are delighted to be opening another brand-new McDonald’s restaurant in Bidston and can’t wait to see local customers, both new and old, enjoy our services on offer.
People are at the heart of our business, and we look forward to welcoming new employees with the jobs our restaurant will create. We’re committed to investing in opportunities for a mix of all ages, life stages and backgrounds, promoting flexibility and equality.”
