A nan was hit by a rock while on the bus.
On Monday, October 30, Val Wilkinson was travelling on the 217 bus in Knowsley when a rock came through the window and hit her on the wrist. Val had been at a hospital appointment and was on her way back to Kirkby.
The 71-year-old said someone could have been "killed" by the missile and she has been left with a swollen wrist. The incident happened at 6.30pm.

Val said: "I was on the 217 which I got at Huyton bus station after being to Whiston for an appointment. As the bus turned toward the top of Tower Hill from Boyes Brow I saw a few lads with hoods up and faces covered. Then the rock came at me like a missile and hit my wrist smashing my watch off.
"It then landed behind my mobility walker. The driver carried on round to Saxon Green and we all had to get off there."
The incident happened on Mischief Night, the day before Halloween a troublesome night for people across Merseyside, with cars and house windows being smashed with bricks, and eggs being thrown. Around 16 different Arriva and Stagecoach bus services were either completely cancelled or diverted on Mischief Night due to antisocial behaviour.
Val said: " It was very scary I was really shook up I think the other passengers were all shocked too, as well as the driver. I’m just so glad there were no babies in prams by my seat… It could have killed someone.
"My wrist is quite swollen, and painful, I did call into the walk in today but there was an hour wait for triage and maybe three and a half hour wait to see a doctor. I have been taking painkillers and holding ice packs against it.
Stagecoach has said they can't comment on the incident as there is a "larger investigation involving other operators " underway.
