A daughter has urged her mum to "come home" after she went missing three years ago.
Carol Mighall, from Tranmere, was last seen on Monday, January 4, 2021 in Rodney Street, Birkenhead. Kayleigh Doyle, one of Carol’s five daughters, has said she and her family look out for Carol wherever they go.
Speaking to the ECHO, Kayleigh, 34, said: “If we go out shopping, here, there and everywhere, our eyes are always peeled.”

Kayleigh said it’s impossible not to try and find her, claiming she is “always on the lookout”.
On the day she disappeared, Carol was seen on CCTV in a convenience store on the corner of Rodney Street and Argyle Street South near the centre of Birkenhead. She bought a litre bottle of vodka and 20 cigarettes and then headed in the direction of Birkenhead Central train station.
Carol, who is now 54, is described as a white female, 5ft 4in tall, of slim build and with a pale complexion. She has brown shoulder length hair, often worn in a ponytail. She was also carrying a black handbag with a shoulder strap.
On the day she was last seen, Carol was wearing a khaki coloured parka-style coat with grey fur on the hood, blue jeans and black and white speckled trainers.
Kayleigh said her mum’s disappearance was completely unexpected. She said: “It was a really big shock. She’s close with all five of her kids, mainly myself.
“I said this when I made the appeal when she first went missing. We were like chalk and cheese, me and my mum, we were best mates. If she was out, I was always with her.”
According to Kayleigh, Carol has not been seen since, despite numerous reports and theories about where she went.
“There was a sighting on Borough Road, but that wasn’t actually her. That was not my mum.
“We thought that she was going to Birkenhead Central station, but my dad had a friend in the train station and they had a look at their CCTV – she didn't go in there. We've got family members who work in the [Grange] Precinct as security – she wasn't spotted there. Wherever she went from the bottom of Argyle, it was like an alien zapped her up.”
Kayleigh urges anyone who thinks they might have spotted Carol to take a picture and send it over. Her mum, in addition to five children, also has nine grandchildren.
When asked what message she would like to send to her mum now, Kayleigh said: “I think it's about time she comes home now. We all miss her, and it's been three years now, so I think she needs to come home. She's missed a lot of things.
“My kids ask about her, my brother's kids ask about her. We just want her home safe and well.”
