There are several items of clothing that never go out of style and will always add a touch of timelessness to any outfit; a trench coat, a pair of denim jeans, a crisp white tee and, of course, a bomber jacket.
The collarless coat can instantly make an outfit look chic and trendy, depending on the accessories and garments you style it with.
One particular jacket from high street icon Marks & Spencer is perfect for doing exactly that and keeps you warm in the process – and having launched in two delicious colourways, its popularity proved the need for even more colour options and the shopping giant has brought out three dreamy options that are perfect for spring.

Having received an abundance of rave reviews (over 200) on the British retailer's website since the toffee and grass green colours were introduced, the Padded Bomber Jacket, which costs £59, has launched in a refreshed colour palette starring a luxury-looking buff (a stoney colour), sophisticated midnight navy and a pastel sage shade.
Available in sizes 6-24, the jacket has been praised for its versatility and style as well as comfort level, with customers saying it's 'easy wearing, easy to style up or down love it' and that it 'works with pretty much everything'.
And it's true – with a gorgeous relaxed fit, it can easily elevate a minimlist outfit with its ribbed neckline, cuffs and hem and works works as well dressed down as it does glammed up thanks to the ruching detail that travels down the jacket's back.
It combines style and practicality being padded to help lock the heat in – making it perfect for your transitional wardrobe from winter to spring as it's ideal for layering up in the colder months, or for throwing on in spring and summer for those chillier evenings when a chunky woollen coat is just a bit too much.
Over the last few months, this jacket has garnered a near-perfect 4.7-star rating from shoppers, reports The Mirror, who say it looks way more expensive that it is, with one stating it was the 'best buy this year' and said: "This beautiful Bomber Jacket fits like a glove,I love it. Love the colour Toffee too it’s what attracted me to it in the first place. Would 100% recommend this item."
Another added: "I bought this recently and love love love, I have the toffee colour and it is stunning, lovely material, very well made and quite warm and can dress it up or down, one of my best buys, I sized up so that I can wear a junket under and the pockets are a nice touch well done M&S."
A third remarked: "Gorgeous Bomber. Love the ruched detail at the back. Have had lots of compliments."
Some people loved it so much they bought it again in another colour. While a number of shopper have noted on the 'roomy' sizing, suggesting others size down, others have suggested the pockets could do with some improving, with one commenting: "This jacket is amazing, it’s quite heavy so hangs really nicely, looks great with jeans or over a dress. I got size 10 which is my normal size and it’s perfect for me, slightly oversized. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars are the pocket flaps which mean it’s not so easy to slide your hands in. Overall great though and very good value.”
Based off this jacket's previous sell-out success, we're expecting M&S' new Padded Bomber Jacket in these three gorgeous new shades (we want one of each colour.) to be of equally high demand, so you should move pretty pronto to snap one up.
It's not just us who are fans of the bomber jacket, either, as late last year Frankie Bridge was seen declaring bomber jackets as back on trend (although did they ever go away?) and shared why she loves them so much.
Posting a picture of her in a now sold-out bomber jacket from River Island on Instagram, the Loose Women panellist said: "Bombers are back this season and with good reason! In my opinion they always give an outfit a cooler edge and I love how you can just throw it on with pretty much anything. Minimal effort, maximum style."
We couldn't agree more, Frankie. And while Frankie's exact style is out of stock after being reduced in the shop's January sales for £15, M&S has another bomber that looks practically identical for £59.
Elsewhere River Island has this Khaki Casual Bomber Jacket in a satin fabric for £15, which was originally £50 and available in all sizes.
