A man accused of hiding the car allegedly used in the murder of Ashley Dale will enter a plea in court this morning.

Kallum Radford, 25, is charged with assisting an offender following the shooting of 28-year-old Ashley on August 21 last year. Knowsley Council worker Ashley was at her home in Leinster Road, Old Swan, when a gunman burst through the front door shortly after midnight and fired multiple shots "indiscriminately."

She was hit in the abdomen and collapsed in the rear yard of the property, where she was spotted by a neighbour who raised the alarm. She was pronounced dead later that morning.

Radford, of no fixed address but from the St Helens area, will appear before Liverpool Crown Court this morning where he will enter a plea. He previously appeared before Wirral Magistrates' Court on February 1 where he was granted bail.

James Witham, 40, of Ashbury Road, Huyton, and Joseph Peers, 28, of Woodlands Road, Roby, have been charged with her murder but are not due to appear for a plea hearing until June 30.
