Sections of the M6, M56, M57 and M62 will close over the coming week.
Motorways in Merseyside will see closures this week (Monday, January 30 – Saturday, February 4) as National Highways continue to repair the region's roads. This week there will be weekend closures overnight on the M6, M56, M57 and M62 which are expected to cause delays for motorists.
There will be some overnight closures on Saturday with the north and southbound carriageways of the M6 being affected.

Here are the motorway closures you can expect in Merseyside this week. This list is subject to changes from National Highways.
Monday, January 30
The M6 northbound will be partially closed between junctions 23 (Haydock) and 27 (Shevington) between 9pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 21A (Croft) and 22 (Winwick) is expected to be closed between 8.30pm and 6am. The motorway will also be closed between junctions 23 (Haydock) and 26 (Orrell) between 9pm and 7am.
The M56 eastbound between junctions 11 (Preston Brook) and 14 (Elton) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 11 (Preston Brook) and 12 (Rocksavage) between 9pm and 6am.
The M57 southbound between junctions one (Tarbock) and two (Forest House) will have two lanes closed between 9pm and 5am.
The M62 westbound between junctions six (Tarbock) and seven (Rainhill Stoops) will have two lanes closed between 9pm and 5am.
Tuesday, January 31
The M6 northbound will be closed between junctions 22 (Winwick) and 26 (Orrell) between 9pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 21A (Croft) and 22 (Winwick) is expected to be closed between 8.30pm and 6am. The motorway will also have two lanes closed between junctions 23 (Haydock) and 26 (Orrell) between 9pm and 7am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 11 (Preston Brook) and 12 (Rocksavage) between 9pm and 6am.
The M62 westbound between junctions six (Tarbock) and seven (Rainhill Stoops) will have two lanes closed between 9pm and 5am.
Wednesday, February 1
The M6 northbound will be closed between junctions 22 (Winwick) and 26 (Orrell) between 9pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 21A (Croft) and 22 (Winwick) is expected to be closed between 8.30pm and 6am. The motorway will also have two lanes closed between junctions 23 (Haydock) and 26 (Orrell) between 9pm and 6am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 11 (Preston Brook) and 12 (Rocksavage) between 9pm and 6am.

The M6 northbound will have two lanes closed between junctions 22 (Winwick) and 26 (Orrell) between 9pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 21A (Croft) and 22 (Winwick) is expected to be closed between 8.30pm and 6am. The motorway will also be closed between junctions 23 (Haydock) and 26 (Orrell) between 9pm and 7am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 11 (Preston Brook) and 12 (Rocksavage) between 9pm and 6am.
The M62 westbound between junctions six (Tarbock) and seven (Rainhill Stoops) will have two lanes closed between 9pm and 5am.

Friday, February 3
The M6 northbound will have two lanes closed between junctions 23 (Haydock) and 26 (Orrell) between 9pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 21A (Croft) and 22 (Winwick) is expected to be closed between 8.30pm and 6am. The motorway will also be closed between junctions 23 (Haydock) and 26 (Orrell) between 9pm and 7am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 11 (Preston Brook) and 12 (Rocksavage) between 9pm and 6am.
Saturday, February 4
The M6 northbound will have two lanes closed between junction 22 (Winwick) and 26 (Orrell) between 9pm and 7am.
The M6 southbound will be closed between junctions 23 (Haydock) and 26 (Orrell) between 9pm and 7am.
