Live updates as woman pulled from water at the Albert Dock

There's a large emergency services presence at the Royal Albert Dock tonight.

Pictures from the scene show fire crews and North West Ambulance incident response vehicles parked at the entrance to the Albert Dock, and close to the Pump House. Police vehicles are also parked along Salthouse Quay, and a coastguard vehicle has just arrived.

Woman rescued from Albert Dock after falling into the water

Emergency services at the Royal Albert Dock after a woman fell in the water

A woman was rescued from the Albert Dock after falling into the water.

Emergency services were called to the docks just after 7.15pm following reports of an incident in the water. Once emergency services from Merseyside Police, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, North West Ambulance Service and coastguard arrived at the scene near Revolution de Cuba they found a woman had fallen into the water.

The woman was pulled from the water by emergency services and passed into the care of the ambulance service. There is no update on the woman’s condition at this time.
