Police are currently at the scene of an incident on a Liverpool city centre road.
Emergency services, including police and ambulance crews are currently on Dale Street. Pictures from the scene show a number of cordons along the road.
One of the cordons has been placed at the entrance to Dale Street Kitchen and across the road. Further down the road there is another cordon near to The Excelsior pub and close to the Queensway tunnel.

Dale Street in Liverpool city centre is now closed as a dozen emergency service vehicles attend scene.

Businesses forced to close
Following the incident a number of businesses on Dale Street have closed.
Alessio Carlisi, a worker at Carlisi, did not witness the accident but said he saw “a gentleman lying on the floor".
He added: "So many police and ambulances arrived. The whole street is blocked off. They arrived about 40 minutes ago. There are a lot of them, a lot.”
Carlisi said it has closed as the road continues to be cordoned off.
Gareth Morgan, the owner of the Dead Crafty Beer Company has also closed his shop after the incident which he said happened at around 3:45pm.
He told the ECHO a man had been run over.
Merseyside Police have not yet confirmed the details surrounding this incident but have said there has been a "serious road traffic collision"

Pictures from the scene show that there is a heavy police presence currently on the road and a number of cordons.
One of the cordons stretches across Dale Street Kitchen and also outside the Excelsior pub.
