Police have cordoned off a number of homes in St Helens.
Officers have placed police tape on Garton Lane and Lever Street, in the Clock Face area.
Floral tributes have been placed outside a house inside a cordon on Lever Street.
While police remain at the scene at Garton Lane. We have contacted Merseyside police for more information about the ongoing incident.

Forensic officers also at the scene
ECHO reporter Olivia Williams is at the scene. She said as well as a number of police officers and vehicles, there are forensic officers in a scientific support van.
The two cordons, on Lever Street and Garton Lane, are within a one minute walk.

Floral tributes at the scene
Floral tributes have been placed outside one of the cordons, on Lever Street.
A police van has also been stationed outside the property for around 24 hours, according to local residents.
The ECHO have contacted Merseyside police about more information on the incident.
We have recieved reports from locals that a man has died following the incident and that the tributes are for him.
Police are yet to confirm this.

Number of cordons in place
The ECHO is in St Helens this morning as police have set up a number of cordons in the Clock Face area.
There are two crime scenes currently in place, one surrounding a house of Lever Street and another on Garton Lane.
