Police are currently blocking the flyover after reports of a crash.
Breeze Hill in both directions is closed due to accident between A5038 Southport Road, The Mons Traffic Lights and A580 Walton Hall Avenue.
Pictures sent to the ECHO show more than five police cars blocking the road, with a witness stating there were "six at the entrance to the flyover at the Alsop School end and another two or three on the flyover". Merseyside Police have been approached for comment.

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service said two fire engines attended the scene and a search and rescue team. A spokesman for the force said they were called at 9.09pm and were on the scene at 9.14pm.
The incident involved one car which had "collided with a lamppost". The driver was taken to hospital. Their condition is not yet known.

Vehicle collided with lamppost
Mersey Fire and Rescue service said they were called to reports of a one vehicle RTC.
Reporter Abigail Nicholson said at the scene there is one car currently in the road.
A spokesperson for the fire services said: "When we arrived the car was on all four wheels. The car had collided with a lamppost. "Firefighters adminstered oxygen the driver was then able to remove themselves from the car before being handed over to North West Ambulance Service. Police are also at the scene and the road is closed. Firefighters left the scene at 10pm."
