Parents have been warned to return a potentially dangerous toy back to Lidl.

It comes after reports a mum succeeded in her fight to remove the Playtive Wooden Learning Puzzle/Blocks from the middle aisle of Lidl. Her young son was exposed to a potential choking hazard within a matter of minutes of playing with the toy.

According to the product recall alert, issued by the supermarket, it said: "Lidl GB is recalling the above-mentioned product as the yellow plastic cap may come loose, releasing small parts which are a potential choking hazard for babies and small children. If you have bought the above product we advise you not to use it.
