Kym Marsh has shared a number of updates with fans as she ditched the UK after ending her most recent job.

The former Corrie star has been wowing audiences in Take That musical Greatest Days. Kym, who was born in Whiston, played Michelle Connor on the cobbles for 13 years before leaving the soap in 2019.

Since her departure from Weatherfield, she has also appeared in BBC's Waterloo Road.

Kym was joined by daughter Emilie in the musical, as they performed in towns and cities across the county. Fans of the boyband have been loving the play, which tells the moving story of four women who reunite after 25 years to fulfil their dream of seeing Take That perform.

Kym, 47, finished her stint in the show last week, and has now decided to swap the UK for sunnier climes, the MEN reports. She and her youngest daughter, Polly, have taken a much-needed holiday.

Kym joked about how 'awful' her holiday is

In an Instagram post earlier this week, the former Hear'Say singer posted a photo of their passports and penned on her Stories: "See ya laterrrrr!!!!" alongside a plane moji and a GIF reading "girl power" [sic].

She has since posted an update from her exotic location, with Kym taking a rest under the clear blue skies on a sun lounger next to an inviting pool which overlooks the glistening sea. She joked: "It's awful here" before adding a series of cry-laughing emojis.
