Coronation Street's Jude Riordan was flooded with support as he announced his great nan has died.
The 12-year-old from St Helens is renowned for his role as Sam Blakeman on the Cobbles. The talented star's mum and dad regularly shares updates from his Instagram page to keep fans updated with his exciting life away from the screen.
However, they have taken to the social media platform tonight to share some sad news as they announced Jude's great nan, Sheila Bolton, had died. The post said: "Yesterday my Great Gran (MA) passed away.

"I will miss her forever. I was 'made' for MA but that's a story for another day. MA is the reason older people are my favourites. Rest in peace Sheila Bolton."
Followers took to the comments to share message of support after the update. Lynne said: "So sorry for the loss of your great gran you will have lovely memories to remember her."
Jane commented: "So sorry for your loss sending my condolences to you and your family at this difficult time." Shan posted: "I’m so sorry to hear this Jude, she will always be watching over you"
