You can go to a series of free fitness classes inspired by a popular TV series for free this week.
With season two of Amazon Prime thriller Jack Reacher due to be released later this month, series stunt coordinator Buster Reeves has co-programmed classes which will give members of the public the chance to build the iconic physique of the fictional action hero.
Stunt coordinator Buster worked on epic action stunts and gruelling gym workouts with Reacher star Alan Ritchson, before Alan reprised his role as the investigator from Lee Child’s best-selling book series. The limited-edition Reps like Reacher class series features five workouts from Wednesday December 13 to Sunday December 17.

Each workout will focus on a different part of the body. Exercises include the Champagne Press to build pecs like plates of armour, the Renegade Row to target chest, back and abs in one move and Dumbbell Swing Squats to work hips, hamstrings and lower back – all key areas to recreate Reacher’s strong physique.
These workouts will take place at Barry’s Liverpool, a gym located on the fifth floor of luxury fashion retailer Flannels. Every class starts at 12.30pm.
Liverpool is one of only three UK cities hosting the unique fitness classes, with one in Manchester and two in London.
Existing Barry’s members will be able to book a Reps Like Reacher class on the app. Non-Barry’s members must create an account on the app and buy a Reps Like Reacher class credit for free.
Season two of Jack Reacher will be available to stream on December 15. More information about the Reps Like Reacher classes is available here.
Barry’s Gym is located on 15 Parker Street in the city centre.
