A street fight between a group of men ended with petrol being poured over a vehicle.
The fight took place at around 10.40pm on Wednesday (May 24) on Home Farm Road, Knowsley Village. Officers attended the scene, but those involved had left the area in a Land Rover and on a motorbike.
Two vehicles had been damaged, with petrol poured over one. However, there was no fire. Officers are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Detective Inspector Barbara Hebden said: “This incident would have understandably caused concern for local residents and we are in the early stages of establishing what happened.
“If you live in the area and have CCTV or smart doorbell footage, please check to see if you captured anything suspicious at around 10.40pm on Wednesday 24 May.
“If you have any information, please come forward and let us know.”
