Famous faces spotted at Coleen's The Real Wagatha Story premiere

Famous faces have been spotted in Liverpool to support Coleen Rooney's new documentary.

The highly anticipated documentary 'Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story' has hit our screens today, Wednesday October 18. Focusing on the high-profile defamation case that dominated headlines in 2022, the documentary will include exclusive interviews with Coleen Rooney and her family.

The 'Wagatha Christie' case first unfolded in 2019 when Coleen Rooney accused Rebekah Vardy of leaking information about her private life to the press.

Rebekah Vardy then launched a libel case against Rooney which resulted in a high-profile court case in May 2022. The court case resulted in Vardy losing, and she was ordered to pay Coleen Rooney £1.5m, during which time the case gripped the nation.

The documentary will be released today on Disney Plus, and to accompany the launch, a special premiere was held in Liverpool at the Everyman Cinema in Liverpool, attended by Coleen and her family.

Amongst those spotted also included Danielle Lloyd as well as Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and partner Megan and former Manchester United player Darren Fletcher as well as the producers and Ellie Phillips as the host.
