A child was taken to hospital after a crash involving a car.
Merseyside Police were called to Sedgemoor Road, at the junction of Mollington Avenue in Norris Green on Wednesday, March 1, following reports of a crash. Once officers arrived at the scene they found a child was hit by a car at the junction.
The North West Ambulance Service was called to the scene and the child, who police could not confirm the age or gender of, was taken to hospital. Police later confirmed the child's injuries were "not thought to be serious".

Police had left the scene by 5.45pm and are now appealing for information.
A spokesperson from the force said: "We are currently in attendance following a road traffic collision in Norris Green. At around 3.25pm, we received a report that a collision had occurred on Sedgemoor Road involving a child pedestrian and a car.
"The child has been taken to hospital and the driver stopped at the scene. Our enquiries are ongoing. If you have information, contact us on 101, DM @MerPolCC or Facebook ‘Merseyside Police Contact Centre’ with reference 0578.
