A "unique, bubbly, outgoing" mum who lost her life to cancer was "a beautiful person who will be missed by all".

Kaleigh Bold, from Mossley Hill, died on December 20 following a battle with breast cancer. The 35-year-old mum had previously battled the disease in 2020, when she underwent a double mastectomy, but after returning from her Barcelona hen do in August this year, she was given the tragic news it had returned and spread to her bones, lungs, liver, and head.

She leaves behind her husband Ant, son Harry, mum Lindsey, brother Adam and sisters Siobhan, Samera and Nadine. Samera and Siobhan said: "Kaleigh was the most positive, inspirational, upbeat, happy, caring, kind person you could meet. Anyone who met her would leave in a better mood, she was a joy to be around and loved by everyone. She literally lit up every room she walked in. She is the most amazing wife and mum. Her little boy Harry is so lucky to have had the best mum on the planet, who adored and worshiped him. Nothing was too much for her when it came to her family."

Her family said they will "carry on the fight" to share Kaleigh's story in the hopes of raising awareness and helping other young women.

They added: "Funny and hilarious and everyone across Liverpool who knew her will notice this tremendous loss that we should not be feeling. Kaleigh wanted to get her story out so more young women don’t go through what she has been through, something needs to change to get young women tested sooner.

"Our family will always carry on this fight in honour of our truly, amazing one of a kind big sister, wife, mum, daughter, niece, granddaughter and friend to many."

Kaleigh's friends have also set up a GoFundMe to help Kaleigh's husband Anthony and their son Harry during this very difficult time. To donate to the page, please click here.

"Kaleigh adored her husband Anthony, they’d been together for 18 years, they were inseparable from the day they met. They were destined to be together, it was meant to be."

Friends and well-wishers paid tribute to the mum-of-one online following news of her death. Kiki Ann said: "Absolutely devastating. What an honour it was to know you Kay! Such a unique, bubbly, outgoing and positive soul who lit up every room! Life is so unfair."

Brenda Clutton said: "So, so sad. Kaleigh was a beautiful kind soul. Sending deepest sympathy and condolences to her mum Lyndsey and all her family and friends."

Daisy Mellor said: "Such a beautiful person who will be missed by all. Rest in peace Kaleigh." Former classmate Jade Walker said: "She was a beautiful soul in school too. R.I.P Kaleigh Bold, I'll never forget school days." Helen Rolfe said: "Beautiful Kay I will never forget you or how much you helped me. Rest in peace." Michelle Grant said: "Cancer always gets the best. RIP beautiful girl."
