Another major star has been announced for Liverpool Comic Con, and fans have greeted the news with huge excitement.
Craig Charles, who made his name playing Dave Lister in the sci-fi comedy Red Dwarf, is the latest big name to be added to 2024's line up. Liverpool-born Craig, also appeared as Lloyd Mullaney in Coronation Street, and is a legendary DJ playing live gigs and hosting The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show on BBC Radio 6 Music.
Comic Con confirmed Craig will only be in attendance at the M&S Bank Arena on the Saturday.

This year's Comic Con weekend is shaping up to be one of the biggest yet, with other names announced including Lord of the Rings and the Goonies star Sean Astin who will join fellow hobbits Elijah Wood, Dominic Monaghan and Billy Boyd at the city venue.
The convention will take place the M&S Bank Arena from May 4-5 this year and will allow fans a chance to see many famous faces from movies, tv, streaming, gaming, anime and sports entertainment.
Reacting to Craig Charles' announcement one person said: "Great guest. Think I may be purchasing a weekend ticket now'.'
Another fan said: ''I don't think I've ever been more excited about a Comic Con guest in five years of going to Comic Con."
Another added: "I'm super happy and super excited to meet him."
As well as meeting and signing autographs for fans during the day, Craig will also be the headline DJ for the Comic Con after party which is to be held at Camp and Furnace.
