A woman described as an "amazing mum" was found dead in her home.
Officers were called to Roughwood Drive in Kirkby at around 5.20pm on Sunday, January 21, following reports of a woman being found unconscious in a house. Once officers arrived at a home on the road, they found the body of a woman in her 30s, who was confirmed dead.
At present, her death is being treated as unexplained and her next of kin have been notified. A huge emergency services response was deployed to the area and remained in the area overnight.

Hundreds of people have paid tribute to the woman, who was described as "beautiful" and "an amazing mum".
Lauren Hughes said: "Rest in peace beautiful, can’t stop thinking of your children. You were an amazing mum."
Gemma Pearl Ledsham said: "I’m going to forever miss our chats, voice notes, and videos where you have me in stitches. My heart is with you until we come together again. Love you."

Terri Bate said: "RIP to a beautiful soul. She was a great mum and my heart breaks for her kids."
Lauren Thompson said: "Rest easy beautiful. You are so loved."
Kellie Bee said: "So so sad, another young life gone to soon may you rest in peace, sending love to your family and your babies."
Chief Inspector Colin Dyer said: “We are carrying out a number of lines of enquiry as we seek to establish what has taken place. Witness enquiries are being carried out in the local area and we are examining local CCTV and Ring doorbell footage to build a picture of what has happened.
“We would ask anyone who was in the area of Roughwood Drive this afternoon who saw or heard anything to contact us as a matter of urgency.”
