The Traitors viewers called for a change as the second season continued tonight.

Claudia Winkleman returned to host another episode of the hit BBC programme. A group of strangers have gathered at a mansion in the Scottish countryside to compete in the "ultimate game of detection, backstabbing, and trust."

Four traitors have been recruited by Claudia who must outwit the Faithfuls. To win the competition and up to £120,000 players must avoid being “murdered” or “banished”. When The Traitors draws to a close, the few remaining players will share the prize pot if they are all faithful.

However, if there is still an undetected traitor among them, the traitor will walk away with the entire amount. Tonight's episode saw two shock exits as Aubrey was 'murdered' by the Traitors before Sonja was banished at the end of the show.

Fans following the show on social media platform X were surprised by the exits. Liam said: "SONJA GOING HOME?? NAHH"

Shanna posted: "I'm sad Aubrey is gone I quite liked him" Viewers regularly take to the social media platform to discuss the episode as it is being broadcast.

However, the BBC had already released the first three episodes on iPlayer and fans were frustrated they couldn't join the conversation as usual as they could see spoilers.

Nikolas said: "The problem with the first three episodes being on iPlayer is I can’t scroll through #TheTraitorsUK tweets"

Sharon added: "Dear BBC Please don’t put any more episodes of #TheTraitorsUK on @BBCiPlayer in advance as it makes it tricky to scroll through messages!!!"

Dutchbbfan commented: "yeah I'm not reading tweets no more… I just see all the spoilers… LIKE LET US TWEET LIVE GOD DAMMIT!"

Jess posted: "I hope they don't release any other episodes on iplayer before they air because Twitter is full of spoilers."

Harri posted: "Ahhhhh we need different hashtags!! For #TheTraitorsUK too many spoilers. We need #TheTraitorsUKiplayer #TheTraitorsUK9pm something Someone must have a better idea!!!"
