Asda
Asda is currently offering four bottles of wine for the price of three on selected brands, but include the Asda Extra Special Sauvignon Blanc, the Extra Special Pinot Grigio Rose and the Trivebto Reserve Malbec. They have also cut the price of some of their prosecco and champagne.
If you fancy splashing out, you can get a Taittinger Prestige Rose Champagne for £44 instead of £48 and there have £1 off the Freixenet Cave Rose (now £8.50), the Kylie Minogue Prosecco Rose (now £9) and the Pendium Rose Sparkling Wine (now £8). The Martini Asti Sparkling Wine has more than 50 five star reviews and is currently on offer for £6.50 at Asda.
And the Asda's own Extra Special Asti Sparkling Wine is not far behind with a number of positive reviews and is down to £4.66 from £7. And the Heidsieck & Co Monopole Blue Top Brut Champagne has been reduced by £10 to £21 and has a number of favourable reviews.
Aldi
Aldi is no stranger to a good wine offer, as it regularly does 'Wines of the Week' which sees the retailer slashing the price of selected wine in store only. This week is no expectation and on offer for £3.99 each are the Beachfront Pinot Grigio Rose, the Rioja and the Italian Pinot Grigio.
They are also selling the Belletti Buck's Fizz for £2.25, a classic for the festive season. They also have a deal on six bottles of selected drinks for £25 which include the Beachfront White Zinfandel, the Costellore Prosecco and the Grapevine Merlot.
In terms of champagne, they have a Veuve Monsigny Champagne Premier Cru Brut for £19.99.
M&S
Admittedly, Marks & Spencer's wines and prosecco are a little more expensive than at Aldi or Asda, but they also have cut the price of a number of their bottles of bubbly for the festive season. Often selling their deals in cases of six, you can get six bottles of the M&S Prosecco for £48 (was £66).
The Nyetimber Classic Cuvee is now £28 for a single bottle, down from £39 or the single bottle of Laurent Perrier Brut is now £39, down from £45. And if you really feel like blowing the budget, their Chapel Down English Sparkling Brut is now £144 for a case of six instead of £174.
Tesco
Tesco is offering deals that are cheaper than M&S, but it all depends on your favourite wine or prosecco brand in reality. Many of the Tesco deals require you to have a Clubcard in order to get the discounted price, so if you don't have one, this might not be the supermarket for you.
Many of their deals end on December 31, so if you do opt for Tesco you will be able to get them in time to click your glasses for midnight. The deals include the Canti Prosecco Spumante which is now £7.50 with a Clubcard (is £8.50), the Wolf Blass Yellow Label Cabernet Sauvignon for £8 which is £9.25 without and the Tesco Finest Prosecco Doc for £7.25 with a Clubcard (is £8 without a Clubcard).
