Alan Carr hopes to find companionship after a difficult breakup from his former partner.
The Chatty Man and his long-time partner, Paul Drayton, went their separate ways in January 2022. They announced their split with a joint statement in January 2022, which said: "After 13 years as a couple and three years of marriage, Alan Carr and Paul Drayton would like to announce they are separating.
"They have jointly and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go their separate ways. We request that their privacy is respected at this sensitive time."

In an interview with The Guardian, Alan admitted his ex-partner's drinking became "too much" before declaring he also struggled with what he thought was alcoholism.
Shortly after their breakup, Paul posted on Instagram that he was in rehab for alcoholism, after a "challenging couple of years" which saw him plead guilty in November 2021 to a drink-driving charge. Alan told The Guardian he thought he too was an alcoholic after several evenings of importance he had no recollection off.
One example was the 4am police statement he had no memory of signing outside a McDonald’s in Liverpool after Elliott, his tour manager, had been severely beaten by a gang, leaving him with a shattered leg.
After looking at his behaviour and that of Paul's, he said: "I know now that I'm not [an alcoholic] and seeing [alcoholism] first-hand, I realise I was nowhere near becoming one." Looking to the future following his divorce he added: "You come out and you think, 'Oh, I'm happy now, taking a bit more control of my life'."
Alan declared himself as on the market but with nowhere to start. He said: "I mean, how do I even meet people? I'm looking for companionship, which makes me sound so old.
"I mean, I spend my whole time either alone on stage, or alone sitting on a seat interviewing people one-on-one. So it's just nice to share because I have the most amazing experiences.'"
Setting aside the potential of a famous partner, he added: "I need somebody who's like celebrity adjacent, who knows the business and understands the long hours and that I might be away."
