The tournament has been played at Aigburth Cricket Club
The Qube Liverpool International Tennis Tournament came to a thrilling conclusion today with both the male and female winners being crowned.
More crowds gathered at Aigburth Cricket Club today for the tournament which opened on Thursday. Like previous days the weather was glorious and people took full opportunity to soak up the sun while enjoying the action.
The event was first launched in 2002 with the then number one and former US Open champion Marat Safin lifting the inaugural trophy at Calderstones Park where he was pictured with a young Steven Gerrard. Former Wimbledon champions Martina Navratilova and John McEnroe have graced the tournament while rising star and current World number one Novak Djokovic cut his teeth on grass at the age of 18.

Emma Raducanu, who won the US Open at the age of 18 becoming the first British woman to take a Grand Slam singles since Virginia Wade at the 1997 Wimbledon Championships, also made an appearance at an event hosted by the Liverpool International Tennis Tournament organisers at Wavertree Tennis Centre where she won her first-ever title at the age of 12.
Local heroes Ken and Neal Skupski have both played at the tournament which moved to Liverpool Cricket Club from Calderstones Park in 2017 and was the brainchild of Norwegian businessman and director Anders Borg. The event has become a staple in Liverpool's social calendar with the tennis tournament attracting celebrities both on and off the court.
The crowd today enjoyed an exhilarating men's and women's final with two matches full of entertainment and fierce competition. In an incredibly tight men's final Enzo Couacaud emerged as the eventual victor, overcoming Dimitar Kuzmanov with a hard-fought victory. The final score line read 7-6, 7-6.
And in the women's final Nigina Abudraimova beat Marie Benoit 6-3 6-3, with both women playing incredibly well and thoroughly entertaining the packed crowd. Like previous days the crowd have dressed to impress to mark the occasion.
