Stunning photos as Celebrity Apex cruise ship docks in Liverpool

ECHO photographer Andrew Teebay captured some stunning photos of the mammoth Celebrity Apex cruise ship in the brilliant sunlight over the Mersey.
The Celebrity Apex, of Celebrity Cruises, docked in Liverpool this morning as part of a 12-day cruise that took passengers up to Iceland. After setting off from Rotterdam, the cruise headed towards Northern Iceland before arriving in Reykjavik last weekend.

After departing Liverpool, she will head to Dover, before finishing the cruise where she started this coming Sunday.
With space for almost 3,000 passengers over 14 decks and weighing about 130,818 tons, she is a huge ship and this is her third visit to the city, having made her inaugural visit in May last year.
