A cordon is in place on a busy road after a police car and scrambler bike crashed.
Merseyside Police and the North West Ambulance Service are in attendance on County Road at the junction of Eton Road in Walton. Police were called here this evening shortly after 8pm.
Around a dozen emergency services are at the scene including police matrix cars, police dogs and an ambulance. Huge crowds of men, women and children have gathered around the cordon as emergency services work inside.

Police issue statement
Police cordoned off a major road after a scrambler bike rider collided with a police car.
Around 7pm tonight (May 30), police received reports of a large group of men on scrambler bikes riding dangerously on a playing field with children nearby. The group were then seen riding on the wrong side of the road on Longmoor Lane, Fazakerley.
A police vehicle responding to the reports was later in collision with one of the scrambler bikes on County Road. Merseyside Police closed County Road between Eton Road and Andrew Street just after 8pm.
