A terraced house in Wavertree sold for £90,000 more than it was listed for at Sutton Kersh's third auction of the year.
The auction house held its third auction on Thursday, May 25 and offered over 147 different lots across the city region. Sutton Kersh said the last time it offered this amount of properties was over two years ago.
The auction generated house sales of over £13m, while the team also sold £4.3m worth of property prior to the auction. This included a four bed coastal home which sold for over £1m.

Sutton Kersh said vacant and investment residential properties proved popular amongst bidders which resulted in significant bidding wars between a number of interested parties. One of the stand out lots included a terraced house on Blantyre Road, Wavertree.
The house had a guide price of £165,000 and sold for £255,000, marking a £90,000 improvement. Another stand out sale was a three storey dormer style, double front semi-detached house converted to five self contained flats which are all currently let. It had a guide price of £285,000 and sold for £377,000.
The flats, on Hartington Road, Toxteth showed significant interest in properties in the south of Liverpool. A grade II listed four bed home on Allerton Road also generated a huge amount of interest and sold for £306,000.
Sutton Kersh Associate Director Cathy Holt said: "It really is a buyers market at the moment, where people are enjoying the opportunity to pick and choose what they want. We knew today would go well due to the amount of sales prior and also the number of bidders registered, but I certainly didn't expect to generate over £13 million in sales, I am extremely pleased and so are our vendors."
