Eleven people arrested as police target County Lines supply between Liverpool and Wales

Three people from Merseyside were among those arrested following a series of coordinated police raids this morning.

Nine men and two women were arrested following the series of drug warrants carried out by the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit (NWROCU). The NWROCU operational team was supported by officers from forces in Merseyside, North Wales and West Mercia in a series of coordinated raids.

The activity, codenamed Operation Arch, is an investigation into a County Lines drug supply running from Merseyside into the Denbighshire and Wrexham areas of North Wales. Three men from Merseyside were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs.

Three men and one woman from North Wales and three men and a woman from Shropshire were arrested on suspicion of the same offence. Police searched a total of nine properties during the raids and recovered significant quantities of cash and Class A drugs. Officers also seized two vehicles.

All suspects have been taken to local police stations for questioning.
