The building was originally constructed in the late 1830s for the Royal Bank and is Grade II listed.
It also includes a retail unit next door which is currently let to Greggs.
When it was opened, the hotel was the eighth site for the budget chain, but the first in the North West.
A statement by Savills posted on the Rightmove listing said: "Tune Hotel is an attractive building situated on the popular Castle Street in the heart of Liverpool city centre.
"The property’s core city centre location provides excellent proximity to the city’s key tourist attractions including Liverpool’s waterfront, The Royal Albert Dock and Liverpool One which is the UK’s largest open air shopping centre."
