The body of a man has been found 18 days after he went missing.
Colin Edwards, 40, went missing from an address in Woodchurch, Wirral, at around 7am on Thursday, January 11. In their initial enquiries, Merseyside Police released CCTV images of Colin at Chester train station from January 10 and he was also seen heading towards Arrowe Park Road on January 11.
At around 1pm today, police received a report that the body of a man had been found in the area of Arrowe Brook Lane in Irby. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The body was formally identified as Mr Edwards. His death is not being treated as suspicious and the case has been referred to the coroner’s office.
Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is asked to DM @MerPolCC quoting log 408 of January 29.
