Merseyside Police are at the scene at a block of flats after a reported shooting.
Police vans are at the scene on Haslingden Close, Old Swan, with Scientific Support Unit vans in attendance. Eyewitnesses said officers were called after reports of a shooting but this has not been confirmed by Merseyside Police.
Merseyside Police have been contacted for a response.
