The four payments from the Department of Work and Pensions coming in February 2024 have been confirmed.
The Cost of Living payments, worth £1,074, are coming next month and will be a boost for UK households, reports BirminghamLive. The full list of benefit claimants that qualify for the upcoming payment are those who receive Universal Credit, Income-based Jobseekers Allowance, Income-related Employment and Support Allowance and Income Support.
Others are Working Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit and Pension Credit. If someone becomes retrospectively entitled to a Cost of Living payment or believe they are entitled but do not receive one, they can report this on GOV.UK from the 23 February.

The Cost of Living Payments, spread across 2023/24, are worth up to £900 for those on means-tested benefits. Here is a breakdown of all four payments.
Cost Of Living Payment – £299
This is the third of three payments over the financial year, totalling up to £900. To be eligible for the payment, customers need to have been entitled to a payment for one of these benefits between 13 November and 12 December (“the qualifying period”), or a payment for an assessment period ending between these dates, or later found to be entitled to a payment.
Winter Fuel Payment – £600
If you were born before 25 September 1957 you could get between £250 and £600 to help you pay your heating bills. This is known as a ‘Winter Fuel Payment’.
You will not be eligible if you have been in hospital getting free treatment for more than a year, need permission to enter the UK and your granted leave says that you cannot claim public funds or were in prison for the whole of the week of 18 to 24 September 2023.
Cold Weather Payment – £25
Payments are issued when the average temperature where you live is recorded as, or forecast to be, 0C or below over seven consecutive days. The scheme will run until March 31, 2024. You need to be living in England or Wales and claiming certain benefits or Support for Mortgage Interest to be eligible for a Cold Weather Payment.
Warm Home Discount – £150
You could get £150 off your electricity bill for winter 2023 to 2024 under the Warm Home Discount Scheme. The money is not paid to you – it’s a one-off discount applied to your electricity bill between early October 2023 and 31 March 2024. You’ll usually get the discount automatically if you’re eligible.
If you might be eligible, you’ll get a letter by early January 2024. If you do not get a letter and you think you’re eligible, you must contact the Warm Home Discount Scheme before 29 February 2024.
