River Island shoppers are heaping praise on a black bardot jumpsuit and now it's on sale.
The jumpsuit is on sale for £34 at Very, though it remains full price on River Island's website at £40. The Bardot Jumpsuit by River Island features a corset-style design and a bandeau neckline, with button detailing up the front. It also has side slip pockets and a zip fastening.
The jumpsuit has proven popular on the Very website, with a 4.4 star rating out of five. It has racked up a number of five star reviews, with many shoppers claiming the jumpsuit is true to size and rating it's quality as five stars.
Among the reviews, one shopper said: "Classy outfit. Beautiful jumpsuit. Can't wait to wear this. Flattering, smart. Finally I found something I love. Very fussy usually."
A second wrote: "Received this lovely jumpsuit looks great on would recommend." A third added: "I bought this for my Christmas nights out, it’s lovely on, feels very comfortable on, looking forward to my night now. The only thing I want to say is that the top of the Bardot wasn’t stitched and I had to tact it myself."
Another added: "I bought this jumpsuit for a family wedding. Fantastic fit and length. The quality of material was of good quality." However, not all shoppers were so impressed with the jumpsuit. One shopper said the pockets were a "disaster".
They wrote: "This had the potential to be such a nice jumpsuit. Perfect fit, height, really nice on the top half and very comfortable but the pockets were a disaster. They were bulky and no matter how I adjusted just looked saggy around the belly area. They did not sit, unless you had your hands inside. Sadly had to return."
Alternatively, a number of other retailers are stocking similar products. Boohoo has the bow front jumpsuit in black for £28, while online retailer Cider has the off-shoulder solid zipper jumpsuit with belt for £21, down from £26.90. ASOS also has the Trendyol off shoulder jumpsuit in black for £68.
