Prince Harry and Meghan have lent their support to King Charles and the Princess of Wales following their respective health scares.
The couple reportedly reached out as Kate spends her sixth day recovering from abdominal surgery at the London Clinic and King Charles prepares to undergo treatment for his enlarged prostate.
A source told The Mirror: “The King and the Princess of Wales have received support from Prince Harry and Meghan regarding their health. The Duke and Duchess contacted both parties in different ways to pass on their concern and best wishes.”
Kate is said to be “doing well” but will remain in the exclusive clinic for between 10 to 14 days, and is not expected to return to official duties until after Easter.
It comes after The Telegraph revealed Harry may have been informed of the King’s enlarged prostate via a news alert as it was 7.25am in California.
The royals informed all the senior members of the Royal family, including Prince Harry, before broadcasting the news, say the publication. They reached out to the palace and the Sussex’s who declined to comment.

Ex London Clinic patient reveals menu at prestigious hospital
The Princess of Wales, 42, was admitted to The London Clinic on Tuesday for the planned procedure on her abdomen.
The future Queen is expected to remain in hospital for 10 to 14 days before returning home to continue her recovery.
A former patient at the Dimple Mistry wrote in MailOnilne: “I hope she’s feeling well enough to choose between the salt and pepper squid with aioli, the steamed ginger and soy seabass, and the cep and wild mushroom risotto, perhaps with a side of truffle fries, or — more likely — a ‘Harley Street Blossom’, a smoothie of coconut water, mango, kale and mint.”

Was the timing of the King’s and Princess of Wales’ health updates a coincidence?
According to the Telegraph, Kate was not rushed to the hospital but aides were still planning for her trips and future engagements as recently as the end of last week.
The paper added the timing of King Charles’s Wednesday health announcement, which was made 90 minutes after the palace revealed the princess had undergone surgery, was a coincidence.
The king only decided to announce his benign prostate condition just hours after receiving his diagnosis following a check-up appointment earlier this week.

Everything we know about The London Clinic where Princess of Wales is recovering from abdominal surgery
The London Clinic was officially opened by the then-Duke and Duchess of York in 1932, the future King George VI and his wife Queen Elizabeth.
It was the brainchild of a group of Harley Street doctors, who set out to plan a new nursing home using the highest medical standards of the day, and its website says it was “founded on the principles of providing excellence in one place”.
Around 155 different conditions are treated at the hospital, which also operates as a charity, reinvesting in research, education and innovation.
It is registered to provide surgery as well as diagnostics and screening, treatment of disease, disorder or injury, management of supply of blood and blood-derived products.
The building at 20 Devonshire Place has seven main operating theatres and three additional theatres, as well as six speciality wards for surgeries in urology, gynaecology, thoracic surgery, orthopaedics and spinal procedures.

Prince Harry ‘misses Britain’ and may return to help out amid Kate and Charles’ health battles
Prince Harry reportedly “misses Britain” and is considering returning home to help the royals as the King and Princess of Wales battle health concerns, a royal commentator has said.
Speaking to GB News, Michael Cole said: “He has said in recent days, he misses Britain, he misses his friends, he misses the sport, he misses the camaraderie.
“He misses a lot about this country. And in a way, I think we miss him and of course, with the recent events, both the Princess of Wales in hospital, there would have been a very important role for him to pick up some slack here and play his full part in the Royal Family.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to California in the summer of 2020 after they stepped back from royal duties.

Prince Harry may have been unaware of King’s condition
Prince Harry may not have been informed about King Charle’s enlarged prostate before the news was announced to the public, say the Telegraph.
The announcement was made in the UK at 3.25pm which is 7.25am in the Duke of Sussex’s Californian home, and the Prince may have been informed via a news alert, the paper understands.
It was early in the morning for Prince Harry when the announcement was made so he could have missed direct messages, report the Telegraph.
The royals informed all the senior members of the Royal family, including Prince Harry, before broadcasting the news, say the publication.
The publication reached out to the palace and the Sussex’s who declined to comment.

Princess of Wales warned by expert against recovering in Adelaide Cottage
The Princess of Wales is expected to return to the family home of Adelaide Cottage in Windsor’s Home Park and will be being supported by their staff, including loyal, long-standing nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo.
Speaking to GB News, royal correspondent Michael Cole said: “She going to be in hospital for up to two weeks as she improves, and I hope that she does very rapidly.
“After she fully recovers she will convalesce initially at Windsor at Adelaide Cottage where they have a house in the grounds. They will stay there I think because the children are at school and she will want to be close to her children.”
He added: “It’s not an absolutely ideal place. A former tenant of Adelaide Cottage was Mrs Rosemary Townsend, the wife of Group Captain Peter Townsend, who famously had an affair with Princess Margaret.
“And she wrote in her memoirs that it was the coldest place she’d ever encountered in the whole of her life.
“So maybe not the best place to start feeling better, particularly in this quite cold winter that we’re enjoying at the moment.”

Who in the royal family is out of action?
With the King due in hospital next week for corrective treatment for his benign condition and William – the next in line to the throne – and Kate out of action for the immediate future, Charles’s slimmed down monarchy – with three of the most senior royals missing – has been put under pressure in a way not seen before during his reign.
Joe Little, of Majesty magazine, said the health troubles have compounded the problem facing the small band of working royals.
Mr Little said: “The working members of the royal family have been under pressure to maintain the level of engagements undertaken by a much larger team in years gone by.
“Suddenly removing three of the most senior players because of health issues compounds the problem considerably, but at least the King will be out of action for only a relatively short period.”
The Queen is still carrying out engagements, joining the Princess Royal, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, the Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra as the current working monarchy – with the latter two appearing increasingly frail in recent years.

Family of amputee supported by Princess Kate sends well wishes
The Princess of Wales has been sent warm wishes for a speedy recovery by the family of an inspirational child fundraiser who urged her not to try to be “superwoman” and rush back to work too soon.
Double amputee Tony Hudgell, nine, who counts Kate as a “number one supporter”, became the youngest person to feature in the New Year Honours when he was awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM) for services to the prevention of child abuse.
The youngster from Kent, has raised more than £1.8 million for charity since he was five, including £500,000 that went to a children’s surgery unit officially opened by Kate last month.
Tony’s mother Paula Hudgell said: “She is very special to us. She has been absolutely wonderful and has been a number one supporter through Tony’s fundraising and everything with the hospital.”
Speaking as Kate spent a third day in hospital recuperating from abdominal surgery, she added: “Get well soon, but take your time.
“We all try to think we are superwoman, especially when we have got children.
“She needs to take her time and not rush back to things. Take each day as it comes.”

How did Princess of Wales deal with previous health crisis?
Completely unrelated to her current abdominal surgery that has seen her hospitalised, back in 2012 Kate Middleton was diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum – severe sickness – while pregnant with Prince George.
Speaking back then in her first ever podcast interview with Giovanna Fletcher on Happy Mum, Happy Baby, Kate said she used meditation and mindfulness to help her through the challenging time.
Acknowledging that she was “not the happiest of pregnant people”, Kate said that through hypnobirthing she “realised the power of the mind over the body” when it came to dealing with the sickness.
“Lots of people have it far, far worse, but it was definitely a challenge.”
“I was really sick – I wasn’t eating the things I should be eating – but yet, the body was still able to take all the goodness from my body and to grow new life, which I think is fascinating.”
The Princess is expected to stay in the hospital for 10 to 14 days total, and will then continue the rest of her recovery at home before continuing public duties after Easter.
