Police discovered a man's crimes after looking through messages on his phone.
Jack Pritchard, of Scotton Avenue in Ellesmere Port, was stopped while driving a silver Vauxhall Astra near his home at around 1.50am on Monday, October 17, 2022. Both Pritchard and the car were searched, and with the 27-year-old producing two small bags of white powder – cocaine – from his trouser pocket.
He then refused to complete a roadside drug test and was arrested. Analysis of his mobile phone revealed drug-related messages, showing Pritchard was involved in the supply of ketamine.

Pritchard appeared at Chester Crown Court on Thursday, December 21, after pleading guilty to being concerned in the supply of ketamine and possession of cocaine. He was sentenced to 10 months in prison.
DC Wellings said: "Thanks to our officers and their proactive police work, we have been able to put a stop to Pritchard’s offending and take illegal drugs off the streets. We always endeavour to do all we can to combat this kind of behaviour, to make our communities safer places to live and visit, while making it harder for people intent on supplying drugs to operate.
“We will always act on any information about drug-related activity and would urge anyone who believes this activity is happening in their community to Cheshire Police by calling 101 or through our website.”
