The Christmas Tractor Convoy has raised more than £50k and counting to go directly to charity.
Every year dozens of tractors decorated with sparkling lights will travel around the city spreading Christmas cheer and raising important funds for Alder Hey Children’s Charity.
Hundreds of onlookers once again lined the streets this year and donated to the cause, now in its fourth year. Farm Olly Harison created the convoy and has since raised £250k in total.

However, Olly has warned that 2023 could be the Christmas Tractor Convoy's last following disruption due to the lack of a police escort.
Olly was told last January by Merseyside Police that they would not be able to help with traffic management, as they had done in previous years, due to a change in the police's policy.
The farmer said: "The police told me they can't provide an escort. I do feel sorry for the police because they are controlled by national regulations. They did offer to provide some community engagement and I don't think you can get a bigger community engagement than this."
Asked whether or not fans can expect the convoy in 2024, Olly told the ECHO he hopes to set up a committee in the new year with local authorities to ensure it remains an annual tradition. You can still donate to the convoy here.
