A "caring" dad-of-two who "would do anything to help anyone" died after a crash.
Police were called to Sherdley Road, near to Peterlee Close, in St Helens on Monday, December 4 following a crash between a cyclist, a silver Nissan Micra and a white Ford Transit. The cyclist, Paul Cunliffe, was taken to hospital but died last week.
His devastated family, including wife of 18 years Sarah and two sons Joshua and Dominic, have paid tribute to the 40-year-old from Thatto Heath.

In a statement issued via Merseyside Police, the dad-of-two's family said: "Paul Cunliffe sadly passed away at the Walton Centre, Aintree Hospital having been involved in a road traffic collision on Monday, December 4 on Sherdley Road, St Helens.
"Paul has left behind Sarah, his devastated wife of 18 years and two sons Joshua and Dominic. He was the only child of parents Barbara and Stephen. Paul was a quiet man full of good humour and a caring nature.
"Paul would do anything to help anyone and all of his friends and family have nothing but fond memories of him. Paul lived in Sutton Heath all his life where he was well known growing up with his best friend Peter.
"Paul made an impression on lots of people throughout his life including at his workplace, High Tech Steel in Bold where he had worked since he was 17. He loved working there and always had lots of funny stories to tell me when he got home.
"Paul will be deeply missed by all of his family and everyone he met. Please keep him in your thoughts."
Police said both drivers of the Nissan Micra and a white Ford Transit van are assisting detectives with enquiries. Merseyside Police are continuing to appeal for anyone who witnessed the crash or captured anything significant on their dashcam or CCTV to contact them.
Officers have issued images of five vehicles that were in the area at the time of the crash and Merseyside Police are asking the drivers to come forward as they may have information which could assist our investigation.
Sergeant Simon Duffy from the Matrix Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “While the images are not the clearest we hope that motorists may recall driving along Sherdley Road around 4.30pm on Monday, December 4 and recognise their vehicles.
“Paul was wearing a yellow high visibility jacket and was riding towards Elton Head Road. Did you see him prior to the collision? Please contact us if you can help. Similarly, if you saw a white Ford Transit courier van that came from the direction of Sutton Heath Road or a light blue Nissan Micra that travelled from Elton Head Road please get in touch.
“We also believe that the occupants of a dark coloured Ford C Max and a small blue hatchback were in the immediate vicinity and may have vital information."
